Lexcel – The Law Society’s Legal Practice Quality Mark
Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark for excellence in legal practice management and excellence in client care.
Crane and Walton LLP first secured Lexcel in 2010.
Lexcel is developed specifically for the legal profession. It is an optional, recognised accreditation scheme for law firms and in-house legal departments which gives assurance that a practice meets high client care and business management standards.
There are less than 2000 of the 11000 firms in England that hold this accreditation.
To gain and retain Lexcel accreditation, the practice must undergo a rigorous initial then annual application and assessment process. This includes conducting background checks and an on-site visit from an independent experienced trained Lexcel assessor.
Crane and Walton LLP is also accredited with The Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) and Family Law accreditation which provides a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing and Family Law practices, meeting the highest standards of technical expertise and client service.
While Crane and Walton LLP are proud to have secured and maintained Lexcel, CQS and Family Law accreditation, it is our clients and staff who are the main beneficiaries. They can be assured that the way we manage the practice has their interests at heart and runs efficiently.
There is a lot of choice in the legal services market, but being Lexcel, CQS and Family Law accredited demonstrates our commitment to client care and best practice.
